Beauty is more than something we see.

It is something we experience—often before we have the words to explain it.

A quiet walk through the woods in winter. A unique home filled with character. A thoughtfully designed event. A front porch welcoming family and friends as the leaves begin to change.

​

Beauty has a way of slowing us down. It invites us to breathe a little deeper, enjoy what we have been rushing past, and connect with the people around us. I believe our surroundings quietly shape how we experience life. They can calm us, inspire us, and allow us to enjoy one another more fully.

​

Autumn has always been my favorite season. As an adult, I have come to understand that part of its beauty is the way it welcomes us in—a season of harvest, transition, and deeper connection with the people we love.

​

At its heart, The Grand Pumpkin Co. is an expression of my love for beauty and hospitality.

 

I believe hospitality begins long before you meet your guests. It begins with the experience they have as they arrive.

Before they take a step inside.

A thoughtfully designed space can do more than decorate an entrance. It can build anticipation, communicate care, and set the tone for the time you will share. It can help people feel seen, valued, and genuinely welcome.

After receiving my degree in Fashion Merchandising from FIT in New York City, I turned my attention toward home and family. Although my career changed, design never left my life. It found new places to grow—in my home, celebrations, clothing, seasonal decorating, and the meaningful spaces I created for the people around me.

​

But the greatest lessons about beauty did not come from school.

​

They came from home.

​

My mom has always had a gift for creating beauty in everyday life. With a heart for hospitality, she welcomes people generously, notices the smallest details, and makes ordinary moments feel special. Looking back, I realize growing up, she was not simply teaching me how to decorate a home. She was teaching me that creating beautiful spaces is one way we care for people. Just by being who she is.

That lesson is at the heart of every porch, storefront, and seasonal design I create.

​

These spaces are not only for the people who arrive at your door. They are for you. Whether you're hosting Thanksgiving dinner, welcoming clients to your business, celebrating a special occasion, or simply enjoying another beautiful Michigan autumn with your family, my hope is to make your load a little lighter so you have more space for whatever matters most to you.
